Police Bank Ltd, commonly called the Police Bank, is an Australian member-owned mutual bank. The officers from NSW Police Force incorporated the bank as ‘Police Credit Union’ on October 24, 1964. On 2 December, 2012, the members passed the resolution to authorize the ‘Police Credit Union’ to be renamed as ‘Police Bank Ltd’. Membership to the Police Bank is open the employees, the relatives and friends of the NSW Police Force, Australian Federal Police, Emergency Management Australia, Corrective Services NSW, Australian Courts and many other law enforcement and associated services. Even the employees of the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service and Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service can seek membership under their ‘Custom Bank’ subsidiary. Police Bank has won many awards for offering superior services at very low fees. The bank offers many products and services, including saving and investment accounts, insurance products, loans with flexible terms and fast approvals, internet banking, mobile banking, telephone banking, police bank salary packaging/leasing, credit and debit cards, FDs, financial solutions, will making services, college student services and currency services.
